Haven Park currently has approximately 70 volunteers. Our volunteers fill a wide-range of roles. An assortment of volunteers, everything from retired pastors providing service on Sunday to the men and women who work in the coffee shop, can be found at Haven Park. And the volunteers share their time and talents according to their schedule. Some come daily, others weekly, bi-monthly or monthly.

As a Haven Park volunteer you’ll bring a sense of joy and a feeling of family into the lives of some of the thousands of people we serve. The life of a Haven Park volunteer is filled with unique opportunities. You’ll have moments throughout each and every day to enrich the lives and well-being of the sick and elderly. When you lose yourself in serving others, often times you remain dedicated to doing so for the rest of your life. Our volunteers are part of a wonderfully passionate service. And for many, it becomes a lifelong service.

One of the best things about volunteering at Haven Park is the fact that we can fit in anyone’s schedule. Whether you only have a few minutes per day, an hour or two a week, or only a day a month or a couple times during the year, it doesn’t really matter. It matters that you care and can make a difference in our residents’ lives.

Maybe you are skeptical about moving forward and becoming a Haven Park volunteer. Maybe you are fearful because you don’t know what kind of activities you’ll be involved in. Don’t be afraid.
