Haven Park understands what you are going through. Right now, or not too long ago, you’ve been depressed, confused, angry, saddened, scared, and worried. You probably don’t know what to say, what to do, or who to turn to for advice. We empathize. We know it’s certainly not easy, and we are here for you. We have the Lord’s blessings and along with His guidance we will combine our efforts to overcome this difficult time.

We respect the devotion and admiration you have for your loved one and we know that making a decision on how to handle the disease is difficult and certainly not something you make overnight. In honoring God in all we do: our staff, facilities and resources are here to reach out to you and your loved one with loving compassion to assist in anyway possible. Our dedicated and caring staff can help you make the right choice for you and your loved one, so please feel free to contact us with your questions and concerns.

At Haven Park we have numerous options that will provide the right fit for your needs. Alzheimer’s Care varies according to the individual. It is critical to find the best care for your loved one and to also understand that one’s long-term needs most certainly will change.

Do you worry that your loved one will leave the stove on? That he or she isn’t eating three meals a day? That he or she will call you at two in the morning because they’re out of milk? Or, maybe you work during the day and there’s no one to help provide care? We preserve and enhance one’s independence while providing the utmost Christian care for the whole person.

What if Mom, Dad or your loved one is forgetting to eat? What if they’re showing signs of confusion over the normal daily activities of their life? Can they recall where they are? Do they go for walks and forget how to return home? Are they displaying overall signs of forgetfulness?

You can trust Haven Park to provide care for your love one. This is a difficult decision and one which your love and loyalty will be tested. We’re here to help you. There are different factors to be weighed, questions to be asked and observations and consultations to be considered. By carefully acknowledging your loved one’s wishes and needs, understanding personal safety issues and costs, and by dedicating sufficient time to measure these things, you will be able to determine if Haven Park is the right fit for you and your loved one.

In 2000 our Gilead Unit enjoyed a wonderful expansion project. Our Gilead residents, loved ones, and staff can take leisurely strolls on a beautiful walking path, get some rest and relaxation in the gazebo or spend some time conversing with one another on the social patio.
